Statement of Environmental Compliance

Metal Rehab Technologies’ fluidized sand bed, chemicals, and chemicals processes along with their waste stream management have all been certified through Federal, State and Local permits to be COMPLETELY NON-HAZARDOUS AND ENVIRONMENTALLY COMPLIANT WITH CURRENT STANDARDS.

Chemicals

Metal Rehab chemists in 1993 developed proprietary, biodegradable chemicals to remove rust, ash, and other coatings from metals.  Thorough testing of these liquid chemicals over 15 years of operation has proved that they are completely non-toxic, non-hazardous, and non-flammable.  These chemicals comply with all Federal, State, and Local mandates for clean liquids and can be discharged through normal channels without treatment.

Fluidized Sand Bed

Metal Rehab’s thermal, gas-heated sand bed is engineered and manufactured by Seghers Keppel.  It operates under a Federal Emissions Exemption issued by the EPA.  The cleaning process is continuously monitored to assure no harmful emissions.

Waste Stream

Metal Rehab’s waste water meets the permitted clean water standards that allow it to be discharged directly into sanitary sewers.  Metal Rehab further engaged in a waste reduction program to where it discharges no effluent into the sewers.  All waste water is treated and recycled.  All solids are treated and disposed according to EPA guidelines.
