Do you have to take the car apart?
Yes all the doors hood fenders and deck lid have to be removed
the wiring harness every thing down to the bare body all glass
rubber brackets.
How do I bring the car to you?
All cars can be brought to our location on flat bed trailer we can
off load parts and body without any problems
I have a convertible.
Is there anything special I need to do before I begin
disassembly?
Yes Before you remove the body from the frame and with the
doors removed, take two pieces of metal place them over the
door latch mounting holes and mark the holes. Drill holes in
these plates and mount the plates over the latch holes using the
latch bolts. Now do the same thing at the door hinge. Measure
the distance between the plates, cut a length of angle iron and
weld in the center of the plates. This will keep the body
alignment while your restoration is in process. When you are
ready to install your door simply unbolt bracing.
Can I leave my trailer at your company?
Yes Our customers are welcome to leave the trailers. We store
all trailers inside the building for security.
